The programmatic system, collection and electronic payment to be established for the directorates of water, sewage and municipalities aims at several benefits, including

 
  1. Modernizing, facilitating and simplifying procedures for employees and citizens.

  2. Reducing manipulation and error in various transactions, bills and receipts, and eliminating the phenomenon of citizen blackmail from some weak-minded people and bribery.

  3. A central and sub-database in all directorates provides information to all subscribers, whether for water transactions or municipal services, with ease of dealing with databases and completing transactions electronically in addition to paper.

  4. Abolishing the inaccurate, manipulative and error estimation formula, so that the directorates can obtain valid readings approved in the various accounts and transactions.

  • Water is included in most joints of life
  • Many products depend on water to be produced. Like paper and oil, as water is used in the manufacture of many canned foods and soft drinks,
  • The cost of desalinating one cubic meter in the Gulf countries by heat using oil costs 70 cents to one dollar
  • The total production of potable water has reached four million cubic meters per day, with a waste rate exceeding one million and 250 thousand cubic meters, i.e. one-third of the quantities produced as a result of abuses and slums that confiscated official and regular services.
